Letters Home Production
In honour of Ontario and Canada’s 150th anniversary, this original script will champion the accomplishments of notable local Canadian citizens in a multi-faceted theatrical production. By using acting, singing, and video, youth will tell the stories (via the letters written home) of local Bruce County or Southern Grey residents such as Southhampton's David Kennedy, Port Elgin's Dr. Margaret McKellar, woman's rights advocate Agnus Macphail, and World War I pilot Captain Eric Robertson of Walkerton, who, through their efforts, helped to shape our region and country.

The Gala on Wednesday July 19th will feature preshow entertainment by the ensemble, a keynote address by Clarence Kieffer, who will share his knowledge of local World War I history, especailly that of the Bruce 1-6-0 as well as the performance of Letters Home.
